Starting Position
1. Sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
2. Hold a dumbbell in each hand, letting your arms hang naturally at your sides.
3. Keep your back straight and chest out.
During the Exercise
1. With a slight bend in your elbows, lift the dumbbells out to the sides.
2. Raise the dumbbells to shoulder height, then slowly return to the starting position.
Breathing Tips
Exhale as you lift the dumbbells, and inhale as you lower them.
