1. Purpose of collection and use of personal information

  1. The company basically distinguishes between essential information and optional information for providing services and providing services tailored to each user's preferences and needs, and collects the following information.

However, for members who do not enter optional information, only member ID (email) and terminal identification information are collected.

b) Purpose of use: Identity verification and age restriction service provision, handling complaints related to service use, preventing unauthorized use by bad members, service device authentication and stable service provision, statistics for improvement, usage restrictions in accordance with service regulations, usage status and statistics/analysis, content information provision, discount and event benefit information, payment schedule details or product cancellation application result notification, service-related billing information, exercise equipment identification and exercise information provision service, photo analysis and utilization for service quality improvement and enhancement

2. Consent to personal information collection

The company has prepared procedures for users to agree to the terms of use (privacy policy), and when users click the consent button, it is considered that they have consented to personal information collection.

6. Retention and use period of collected personal information

  1. Members' personal information is retained and used during the period of providing services to service members, and when members withdraw, collected personal information is destroyed so that it cannot be viewed or used. However, if there is a need to preserve it according to the provisions of related laws, it is preserved according to related laws.

7. Procedure and method of personal information destruction

The company destroys the information without delay according to the retention period and use period after the purpose of using collected personal information is achieved. The destruction procedures, methods, and timing are as follows.

Personal information entered by members for service registration is deleted or destroyed after the retention period according to internal policies and information protection reasons under other related laws (refer to the retention and use period of personal information above) has elapsed after the purpose of use such as service termination is achieved. 8. Rights and obligations of members

  2. Please enter your personal information accurately and up-to-date to prevent unexpected accidents. You are responsible for accidents caused by inaccurate information entered, and membership may be lost if false information such as theft of others' information is entered.

  3. Members have the right to be protected for personal information and also have the obligation to protect their own personal information and not infringe on others' information. Please be careful not to leak your personal information including PASSWORD and be careful not to damage others' personal information including posts. If you fail to fulfill such responsibilities and damage others' information, you may be punished under the Information and Communications Network Act, etc.

9. Method of notification or notice of privacy policy

  1. When the company wants to obtain additional consent from members to use members' personal information beyond the scope of consent or provide it to third parties, it notifies the relevant matters in advance individually through writing, email, phone, internet homepage posting, etc., and obtains consent.

  2. When consigning collection, storage, processing, use, provision, management, destruction, etc. of members' personal information to others, it is disclosed on the internet homepage through registration screens, service terms of use, homepage privacy policy, etc.

  3. When the company transfers all or part of its business or transfers its rights and obligations through merger, inheritance, etc., it individually notifies members through writing, email, etc., and simultaneously posts the fact on the first screen of the homepage for 30 days or more so that it can be identified. Paid Services

Members can purchase paid services through the GymWork app.

  1. Subscription service

(1) GymWork may provide members with services that provide benefits corresponding to the price for a certain period when a fixed amount is paid (hereinafter "subscription service") and related functions.

  1. Renewal and cancellation of subscription service

(1) Subscription services are automatically renewed regularly, and if you do not want renewal, you can stop at any time, but you must cancel the subscription before the current subscription period ends.

(2) Also, subscription services continue regardless of app deletion/account withdrawal/usage status according to the operating system account information used by members.

(3) Therefore, in case of subscription service cancellation, GymWork has no way to cancel automatic renewal and must follow the automatic renewal cancellation method of the app store (hereinafter "app store") of the operating system used by members.

  1. Changes to subscription service

GymWork may discontinue subscription services or change the content of subscription services (provided benefits, prices, etc.) through reasonable advance notice. Also, regarding unfavorable changes to paid services, the effect takes effect 30 days after notification of the changed content, so members can discontinue subscription services before the change takes effect.

If members continue to use the changed subscription service, they are deemed to have agreed to the changed service use conditions.

  1. Payment

When purchasing subscription services and other paid services (hereinafter collectively referred to as "products"), members agree to pay all fees including taxes and fees used by GymWork and members.

Members must comply with the terms of the app store and other payment processing services used by members and fulfill contractual responsibilities accordingly.

When members purchase products through the app store, all payment-related questions, problems, complaints, etc. will be handled according to the payment processing service terms of the app store used by members. GymWork has no authority to intervene in this and bears no legal responsibility.

GymWork cannot change the settings of members' terminals. When members purchase products by setting up simple payment functions with omitted authentication procedures on terminals at their own discretion, GymWork cannot intervene and bears no responsibility.

Additional terms applicable when members pay by direct payment to GymWork

When members pay directly to GymWork, GymWork can correct billing errors or mistakes even if payment has already been requested or received from GymWork. If members initiate payment rejection or cancel payments made with the payment method chosen by members, GymWork may immediately terminate members' paid services and/or members' accounts at its sole discretion.

If payment is not successfully made due to expiration, insufficient balance, etc., or if members do not modify payment method information and do not terminate or cancel paid services, members are still responsible for unpaid amounts and paid service use may be restricted. When updating payment information, you grant GymWork the right to continue billing fees with the GymWork payment method, which may change your payment billing date. Also, you authorize the company to receive updated or replacement expiration dates and card numbers of credit cards or debit cards provided by your credit card or debit card issuer. Your payment terms depend on your payment method and may be determined according to contracts between you and the financial institution, credit card issuer, or other provider of the payment method you choose.

  1. Payment responsibility for third-party payments

Unless products are purchased due to leakage of members' personal information due to GymWork's intentional or gross negligence, members are responsible for all charges incurred in relation to members' accounts.

GymWork bears no responsibility for third-party payments caused by members' failure to use terminal and app store password setting functions or careless exposure, including third-party payments caused by theft of members' names or personal information.

Please be careful that your acquaintances, children, and family do not purchase products using your terminal. Even when members' acquaintances, children, and family purchase products without members' consent or against members' will, except when related laws provide otherwise, members are responsible for fee payment, and GymWork bears no responsibility for this.

  1. Refund

Members can stop using paid services in the future at any time. Please note that when canceling midway depending on the provided service, payment platform fees, penalties, etc. may occur and/or refunds may be made after deducting member usage.

Refunds for subscription services permitted according to the laws of the country where members reside are processed according to the refund regulations of the payment platform (e.g., app store) used by members for service purchases and may be limited accordingly. Therefore, we recommend that members directly check the refund regulations and policies of the relevant operators.

10. Opinion collection and complaint handling

  1. The company operates a member consultation center for smooth communication with members, and if members have inquiries, they can receive sincere answers at any time by inquiring through 1:1 inquiry within the application.

  2. We will strive to provide answers within 24 hours of receipt for consultations using 1:1 inquiry.
