Starting Position
1. Place the safety squat bar (SSB) comfortably across your upper traps.
2. Keep the pads secure against your shoulders and lightly hold the handles.
3. Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and toes slightly pointed out.
4. Lift your chest, brace your core, and look forward.
During the Exercise
1. Send your hips back and bend your knees to lower slowly.
2. Keep your knees tracking in the same direction as your toes.
3. Maintain a neutral back as you lower until your thighs are about parallel to the floor.
4. Push through your whole feet to stand back up to the starting position.
Breathing Tips
Inhale and brace your core before lowering. Exhale as you stand up.
