Starting Position
1. Set an appropriate weight on the Smith machine.
2. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and position your toes under the bar of the Smith machine.
3. Secure the bar on your shoulders and grip it with your hands.
4. Start with your heels touching the ground.
During the Exercise
1. Slowly raise your heels to stand on your toes.
2. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower your heels back to the ground.
3. Repeat this motion.
Breathing Tips
Exhale as you raise your heels, and inhale as you lower them.
